Thing 11

I found that using the google blogger search was the easiest method of finding RSS feeds. It helps if you already know what you want to find though. I found that Technorati was pretty easy to use. I liked that it showed a variety of articles on it's homepage. By searching for key words you can narrow the results down and read the title and first few sentences without opening it to see if you want to open and read it.

I also found that the Topix.net was a little complicated to use. You need to know a tag word to start searching. I used "classroom". This was a little too broad of a topic I think. It showed me hundreds of topics and just made it difficult to find anything useful in all the "fluff".

I can see how these blogs would be useful as an educator for when I want to get good ideas for my classroom and lesson plans.
